Project empty shells – Terumbu Selegi

This was a random idea thought by me while exploring Terumbu Selegi yesterday, as I got rather bored after a while.

Here’s some of the empty shells I found at a spot on the sand bar and in the reef.

Arabian cowrie?

If you look carefully, our shores are full of shells.

Though the empty shells are pretty, you should not collect them as they are important to the ecosystems and many other animals depend on these empty shells for survival.
